Winchester Model 63 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #40967, .22 LR cal., 23" barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut forend and pistol grip stock with tubular magazine, checkered blue steel buttplate, brass tipped dovetailed blade front sight, and Marble's semi-buckhorn rear sight. Mfg'd 1940. Rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 90-92% thinning factory finish, with marks along the barrel and receiver; moderate surface rust on the underside of the barrel. Receiver shows edge wear and an extra set of two vacant holes on the left side. Stock is in good condition, with scattered indentations, scratches, and 1-" chip at the toe. Action functions well.
